Indian car market is presently witnessing a boom. Despite global slowdown, all major car makers have lined up their latest models for launch. Maruti Udyog Ltd is all set to launch their much awaited Maruti Ertuga. Nissan is launching a small SUV and a V-platform MPV this year. Tata has three models in its lineup. All other car makers including Hyundai, Ford, Chevrolet, Audi, BMW, and Mahindra are planning to introduce New Car Models in India.

After tasting success of Xylo Mahindra is launching a compact version of Xylo with five seating capacity especially to avail tax benefits. Mini Mahindra is priced between Rs. 5-6 lacs and expected to hit roads by June 2012.
German car major Audi is planning to introduce Audi Q3 and Audi New A4 this year priced between Rs. 20 to 30 lacs. Another German car maker BMW is all set to release BMW New 3-Series in June 2012 with price band of Rs. 30 to 40. Mercedes-Benz introduces M-Class in luxury segment with a price tag of Rs. 60-70 lacs.
Chevrolet Sail Sedan joins the new cars in India awaiting launch in India by May-June 2012. Priced at Rs. 6-7 lacs price band, Chevrolet Sail is being pushed to phase out ageing Aveo models. Tata Manza comes in a new variant Manza CS with added features.
Hyundai Motor lunches its premium sedan Fluidic Elantra with priced a Rs. 10 to 13 lacks. Tata Safari Storme that is being launched by May this year got a massive facelift from its 1990 avatar. The company has developed this MUV in X2 platform, the same as Tata Aria.
