Amsterdam is a great place to discover on foot. You can do some pleasant walking tours along the canals and through parts of old Amsterdam. Do not think more; visit Holland in your next vacations. It would be an unforgettable experience. First, book a cheap room in your Hotel. You'll save some to buy other things.

Several smaller and bigger festivals are held throughout the year. It is important to find a Hotel near to the downtown. There are series of concerts at unique locations: churches, private homes, and on boats. The Prinsengracht is the most traditionally concert in Amsterdam. The stage was build over a canal. People with boats will be waiting for days in the canal to have an excellent view of this activity.

If you go to Amsterdam in summer maybe you want to go to the beach. Noordwijk Beach is the home to sun, fun, golden sand and surfing. If you don't know surfing, there are many surfing clubs that can teach you. Noordwijk is also a part of the town. Here, it is easy to meet people and be merry in the local bars. Another good beach is Blijburg, it is located in the north east of Amsterdam

... a strenuous day, you should go to your Hotel to sleep. If you have the opportunity to eat in your Hotel, do it. Food in restaurants are expensive, don't forget that.

Amsterdam is not a fashion capital like Paris or Milan but here, you'll find many shopping malls with good bargains. Prices are reasonably low compared to other European capitals and Amsterdam has a wide selection of fashions, shoes, books, accessories, antiques, and unique gifts to choose from.

Amsterdam is a small city. You don't need more than three or four days to explore it. Give you chance and visit the Netherlands.
