The REO ‘Affairs’
The house next door is having an affair with the dilapidated eye-sore of a foreclosed home that is vacant. Vacant, except the vermin and occasional indigent, vandal, drug user, scum bag, etc. The foreclosed home doesn’t desire its temporary tenants, or the strange affair it’s having with the neighbors, but it is ripping off its nearby homeowners and keeping values and the economy in a slump so low that contractors are still out of work. What is the solution? How do we end this affair with the neighboring homes that causes values to decrease with time and proximity? The American Dream is not commensurate with dropping home values. The current homeowners in the neighborhood did not sign up for an American Nightmare.
GSPS intercepts these torrid affairs in a variety of ways by:

It’s like a big scam – the banks took the homes from the homeowners and allowed them to further deteriorate – causing those in an accidental affair to suffer the consequences. Unfortunately it has become a way of life for many in our formerly affluent or at least comfortable, safe neighborhoods.
GSPS makes it their business to get involved and get busy working to renovate or eliminate. The REO affairs must change – evolve into a symbiotic and loving relationship as it once was – happy homes living amongst each other – maybe with a park in between.
