While money is one of the perks of owning your own business, there are several other benefits that you can enjoy when you run your own business.

When you run your own business, you are your own boss. No more do you have to go to anybody else for permission if you want to take the day off to go to your child's school play or even if you just want to goof off and go fishing.

All-round Flexibility

While you may need to work 24/7 when starting out in your own business, you will very soon be able to dictate your own working hours and set your own schedule around all those other important dates in your diary. Need to go coach the school baseball team in the morning and visit the dentist in the evening? No problem- you could do that and still catch up with your pending work late at night when the family is asleep.
