If you can't reach him, you might be tempted to approach his friends or family members. Maybe you want to find out more about what has happen to him and why did he want to break up with you.

Try not to do that. One reason is that he may not have told his friends or family members about it. Imagine what his reaction will be like if he realizes that you are harassing his friends and family members.
