What Is Tft Lcd Display, And Why Do We See It Everyday?
In this modern day and age, most aspects and areas of life are involved with technology. We have come a long way since pen and paper, we now do things very differently. Of course we still have the pen and paper around, and it is widely used, but nowhere near as much any more. In recent years things have really taken a shift, and everything is done via technology. Smartphones rule the world, and everyone has one, even primary school children seem to be carrying around the latest Blackberry or iPhone. With this great shift, technology keeps updating so quickly, as there is a huge demand for it. People keep wanting upgrades on phones, TV's everything that has a screen. This is causing manufactures of TFT LCD display screens to work much faster and harder, creating these stunning screens each year.
But, does anyone ever stop to think how those screens are made? Why are they so clear, and how do the they make something so intricate yet complex in a flat panel in a phone or TV? It really is quite amazing how the screens are manufactured, and it's interesting to see where the TFT LCD evolved from. Originally LCD panels were ...
... just writing or text, and they still are today, more colours are around, and more fonts, different background colours, which is why there is so much to choose from. But at the beginning, there really wasn't that much to choose from, but it was amazing to people back then. You can have your own LCD panels made custom for your product, to give it a unique edge, a modern touch and to show professionalism. Where everyone is used to digital text these days, it will relate to modern times better, rather than having someone reading along in a manual whilst pushing buttons.
TFT LCD stands for thin film transistor liquid crystal display, which is the highest quality digital panel there is. TFT LCD is a form of liquid crystal display, which when used with the correct technology, allows image quality to be outstanding. Every Smartphone out there today will use TFT LCD, as it gives off the best image quality you can get. All these companies are battling out with apps and phone features, but the screens remain TFT LCD's because there is nothing better. You can have your own TFT LCD screens made for your product too, which enable you to have stunning quality images, and striking photos on whatever your product may be.
If you own a touch screen product, you can still use the TFT LCD screens, this is why all the Smartphone companies use them, as they allow for the highest quality images, and can still be used with a touch screen function. The display and quality is not affected by the touch screen function, there is no compromise whatsoever. The TFT LCD is flawless, and will continue to get better and better through the years, it still remains the number one, top quality display panel or screen available today.
