Top Rated DSLR Cameras
A digital single-lens reflex camera is a digital camera that uses an automatic mirror system and pentaprism or pentamirror to direct light from the lens through the viewfinder eyepiece. As the development of DSLR cameras, more and more people choose to buy DSLR cameras, because DSLR cameras offer powerful features and the flexibility of interchange lenses, so you can capture the most beautiful moment. But to many people, they don't know which one is the best DSLR camera. Here is a list of the top rated DSLR cameras.
1. Nikon D300
With Great performance and class-leading photo quality, The D300 isn't built for rookies used to the wonders of a point-and-shoot, but hard-core DSLR users who know their way around a nicely loaded DSLR. Its high resolution, exceptional flexibility and excellent exposure accuracy make the effort of working through a longish learning stage worthwhile. The D300 should fare well against its two strongest competitors, Sony's Alpha 700 and Olympus' E3.
2. Canon EOS 400D
The 10mp successor to the 350D XT, the 400D XTi is considered an excellent first ...
... step into the world of DSLR cameras. Excellent 10.1 megapixel sensor with impressively low noise and superb detail, the 400D is exceptional. The 2.5-inch LCD is a marked improvement over the previous version's [350D] measly 1.8-inch display.
3. Canon EOS 450D
Canon's newest Rebel gets some mojo from its pro-level siblings, and adds a few tricks of its own. There's a 3-inch 230K dot LCD like the 1Ds Mark III. It's the first Rebel with a Digic III processor. There's 14-bit A/D conversion. It's got a 4% spot meter. The 450D is also a 12.2MP camera which is a step up from its predecessor and from the Sony A200 and Nikon D60. This increase allows for greater enlargements and finer detail when zooming in and cropping. It has Live View mode. This is the best yet.
4. Olympus E3
Despite some interface quirks and a slightly awkward design, the Olympus E3 fares quite well against its midrange DSLR competition. If you want virtually total control, this is your camera.
5. Olympus EVolt E-510
Though the Olympus EVolt's many features might make it a bit daunting to some prospective users, the E-510 is a solid, adaptable camera that takes very good pictures under most conditions. Even with the new 40mm-to-150mm telephoto zoom lens, you won't feel weighed down. The E-510 continues the Olympus tradition of appealing to novice or developing photographers with simple, easy-to-use high-end cameras.
