From collaborative efforts of creators of South Park and writers of Avenue Q, The Book of Mormon unveils tale of two young Mormon missionaries and their journey through a remote village in Uganda. This musical tells of journey of young men as they encounter evil warlords and third world problems.
The Book of Mormon tickets project struggles of organized religion as it is challenged by very real struggles of this remote village. Missionaries have to cope with and learn from their own self doubt and their cultural shock. The lessons and trials depicted in The Book of Mormon make the audience reconsider their own beliefs and struggles. In the end, The Book of Mormon shows how the missionaries have grown though their trials and come out better for the struggle. This inspiring musical uses humour and clever musical numbers to bring the audience a message that everyone relate to.
