All these abovementioned municipalities sit at the base of the mountain chain, and from nearly all of them you can see some part of the Paganella Mountain. If you're attempt is to escape to nature, then test your limits on the Brenta Dolmites peak or flee to the flora and fauna of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and panoramas atop the Adige Valley.

The resorts and towns around Paganella muster up images of great ranges or vast plateaus; however, the Roda Peak reaches sky high at over 2,100 meters so don't be fooled into thinking there's level land around. The slopes proffer some great skiing, though some are dead steep as they approach the Adige River.

The Paganella Plateau in itself offers some serious winter ski solutions. There's an amazing amount of cross-country skiing in the area too. No matter if you're a champion, advanced, intermediate or beginner skier, Paganella has tons of downhills - from slopes to slants to great gradients, there's a butte for one and all. The declivity is always plentiful and the chance to hone your skills is just as prolific.

Paganella offers, what else but, slopes. If you ...
... combine them all, there's over 60 km of ski trails: over 15 km of easy slopes; over 30 km of intermediate slopes; and, over 5 km of difficult slopes. With 19-and growing-ski lifts interconnecting the northwest peaks and fir forests, Paganella (can) encounters over 2,600 skiers per hour. The world famous "3-Tre" has seen many new and late-but-still-great champion skiers for over 40 years. If there's no snow to be had, artificial snow can cover over 90% of the trails from December till season's end. Together with a Winter Card*, you just may stay that long.

The largest town near Paganella is Andalo. Lying amid the Paganella crown and the Dolomites, there are two ski lifts right in the center of town. Ride up and down whenever you need a hot cocoa, aperitif or a nightcap. Andalo compromises bars of all types, restaurants of every flavor and hotels of all stars. A sport facility for individuals, couples, partners or whole families is at your disposal. Next to Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the sport facility offers an indoor ice stadium, volleyball, basketball, swimming pool and winter snowshoeing, snowboarding and horse drawn sledge excursions.

Even if you know nothing of Paganella or skiing for that matter, you have an assortment of courses and classes to help you learn. There are snowboarding group courses for adults and children for two hours per day for five days for less than 100 Euros. Into the bargain, children can participate in the Club Piccollo Igloo for ages 4-12. Here, you'll have 18 hours of ski lessons, climbing walls, forest guided walks, lunches, play time and competitions with prizes for around 200 Euros. If you already know a little about skiing, then you can try your ski poles at an Elite Skiing Course for a total of 12 hours for 150 Euros. If none of the above piques your Paganella pursuits, then try courses in cross-country skiing or ski mountaineering. If the hankering calls, you can likely find a heading to follow in Paganella, Italy. All you have to look is up.

*The Winter Card is available from some agencies, companies and Paganella hotels:
- Discounts for the ski passes to Paganella, Skirama, Superskirama
- Discounts to ski rental shops (and ski schools)
- Usage of ski bus for free
- Up to 10% discounts for the sport center in Andalo
