Wear Heels, But In Moderation
Most of the times, we learn the easy lessons of life, but in a bitter way. Similarly, I learnt a very simple lesson but much after, I had suffered enough. I just truly loved wearing heels when it came to shoes. I had a collection of the best brands that offered inches of various length and shape. I was under the impression that the taller I appear the better I would come across.
I started wearing heels ever since I was in school. I would dress up for small get-togethers in big way and would take pride in the gait I held when meeting friends. Well, most of them complimented me for the way I dressed and carried myself. There was hardly anyone who discouraged me fro wearing those long shoes, walking in which was indeed an exercise is much self-control. I wish someone had stopped me then. Even after my marriage, I did not stop but there was something uncomfortable that started in my upper and lower back.
It began as a mild discomfort initially and then started descending down on to my knees as a sharp piercing pain. The pain was so severe that when I had the attack, it was nearly impossible for me to get-up and move ...
... around. I was no longer able to go out for parties. So much so that my daily life became a mess. I could no longer sit or stand, I had to always rest. Wearing heels was a distant dream; I could no longer even walk wearing normal shoes.
Unable to do anything about it, I decided to visit the orthopedic surgeon in Delhi, my husband had recommended. My world came down crashing when the orthopedic surgeon in Delhi told me I would need to undergo a knee replacement surgery India . I was shell shocked. In the 40 years of my life, I had never gone through even a small procedure, let alone a surgery, And now the doctor was saying that a knee replacement surgery India was my only option.
I came back home and discussed it with my family. I also did my research online to find out what exactly was knee replacement Delhi and after much reading up on the topic, I was convinced that it was a safe thing to go for and I must not delay it if I want to love normally again. Of course, just as the doctor had suggested, even after a knee replacement Delhi, I will have to take precautions in order to stay well and will have to completely stop wearing heels. Therefore, my suggestion to all. Please wear heels in moderation if you do not want to end-up like me.
