Nicole Richie has been showcasing her penchant for fashion accessories. The celebrity was pictured while out promoting her new show Fashion Star on Extra! at The Grove, the Daily Mail reports. The programme is a US reality television series for the NBC network and it is hosted by Elle Macpherson. Contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes while facing restrictions in terms of time, materials and theme. Richie is one of the mentors who helps the participants.

Wearing a stunning yellow dress complimented by fabulous costume jewellery and a playful belt, the 30-year-old designer appeared in top form. According to the publication, she was "every inch the fashionista in her bright ensemble".

It added: "Not only did the bold hue compliment her skin tone but the short cut of the dress displayed her trim legs and slim physique."

As well as the blood red belt, which matched her bright lipstick, she had donned contrasting peep toe blue heels, a cocktail ring and an arrow ring.

The mum-of-two stopped to pose for pictures with designer John Varvatos, who is also working on the new TV show.
