Bridge is a popular game the world over, and as such has many deviations. But who can keep tally of all the many types of gameplay, let alone scoring? Contract Bridge played ordinarily is challenging enough, why add to it with tallying disputes? There is a tool to assist in making Bridge tallies more efficient: The Best Playing Cards.

The game of Bridge requires four players, comprised of two, two person teams playing in competition. As with Spades, in Bridge each team wagers a number of tricks to start the hand; they need to score the number of tricks theyoffered. You'll find all sorts of useful things at thebestplayingcards.com that will come in handy, mainly when keeping score during your game.

Rubber Bridge, Duplicate Bridge, Chicago Bridge, Honeymoon Bridge and Minibridge are some of the different modifications of Contract Bridge, each with its own methods of scoring. Chicago Bridge even has alternate procedures for scoring: Duplicate and Russian. With each of these variations of Bridge, it's no wonder that Bridge tallies can become quite the nuisance, even for the veteran Bridge player.

Rubber ...
... Bridge tallies, as with all Bridge play, begin with the auction war. The team that bids the highest number wins the bid, but they must try to clear at least as many tricks as they bid.by the number of tricks they take.|The team that wins the bid is is responsible foras many tricks at they bid in that auction.} Rubber Bridge is played in rubbers; a rubber being comprised of winning the best of three games. These games stop when one group or the other reaches 100 or more points. When a contract is achieved by the auction winners, their score is added to their teams total tally. If, at the close of the game the contract has been doubled, the score is also doubled. The score will be enlarged by two and two again if the bid total is also twice doubled.

Unlike other forms of Bridge, wherein luck can play just as much a role in winning as skill; Duplicate Bridge takes most that potential out. In Rubber Bridge, the way the cards are dealt can occasionally cause the lesser experience team to win, through no liability of the better. Duplicate Bridge takes the cards out of the balance, and concentrates more on the proficiency of the player. Each deal in Duplicate Bridge is its own score, rather than those played in sets of games like Rubber Bridge. Another alteration between these two games is the fact that the actual score of the game isn't determined by the tricks taken during the hand. Alternatively, your score is judged against to that of other players in the same situation with the same hand; if your score is better than the other teams you win, if not you lose.

Keeping track of the different rules and their corresponding methods of scoring is no easy task. With so many different games, keeping score can become as tactical a job as playing the game itself.

The many games of Bridge vary from one to the next, but one thing stays the same. In order to make scoring easier and more efficient, you should use The Best Playing Cards for your Bridge tallies. It's a much more effective way than scribbling scorecards on notepaper.
