When We Started Using Cloud Phone At Work, I Was Finally Able To Achieve My Dream Of Working From Ho

I've always wished to work from home, but it wasn't until my boss got some new cloud phone services that I was able to live out my dream. For the last ten years I have been working as a graphic designer in a giant advertising firm, and I had always had to be there at the office so that I could get phone calls there and communicate with all the other executives at the company.

The biggest reason why I had to stay in the office was because of the e-mails, because they almost always contain large attachments that had to be stored on the company's internal servers. This is one of the things that make transferring files hard, as they are generally large. I still wished to be able to work from home though, as every other part of my job could simply be done from home on my own computer.

My hopes started to soar when my boss announced to all of us one morning that we were going to be switching to cloud business services and that from then on, all of our communications were going to be handled through the cloud. I was anxious when the time came to approach him because I had put all of my hopes into this pitch. I shouldn't have worried, however, because he saw the merits of my idea almost immediately. My boss simply asked me to figure out what I would need from the company as far as supplies, software and hardware, and to submit it as quickly as I could. I made up the list and anxiously anticipated being able to stay at home and work from my comfortable home office.

The first day I was able to work from my home, everything went flawlessly, and the cloud system allowed me to stay in contact with everyone at the office as well as all of my clients. It went so well, my boss and I both acknowledged that the communication was so easy that it felt like I was there in the office still. I additionally used the cloud phone to check the messages that had been left for me at work. I was able to reply quickly and efficiently, all from the comfort of my home office. I liked not having a long drive and I could get myself something to snack on any time I wanted, so basically working from home was great!
