Budget 2012 Presented By George Osborne In Uk
Chancellor George Osborne talked about his spending plans for the next year. He showed the Budget box to the press. According to George Osborne, it is a Budget which is capable to reward work and unashamedly back business. He made a promise which was to deliver a simple tax system. This system will be more competitive and will help in lifting low-paid workers out of paying tax and increasing the amount of money that is acquired by Treasury from the wealthy.

Mr. George Osborne was in the company of his Treasury team prior to attend Parliament for Prime Minister’s Questions. In the House of Commons, Chancellor George Osborne outlined some key points in his Budget statement. He concluded by saying, "This country borrowed its way into trouble, now it's going to earn its way out". According to his pledge, it is the largest ever increase in the personal allowance, which is increasing the income tax threshold by £1,100 from April 2013 to £9,205. He also said that child benefit will be withdrawn from the families where one parent is earning more than £60,000. Still some 90% of families will retain the ongoing child benefits. He continued by saying, "All sections of society must make a contribution to dealing with the deficit." According to OBR, the move of reducing the tax rate is reasonable. No change was introduced for pension relief for higher tax payers in the budget of Mr. Osborne.
