The Art Of Saving Money And How To Do It
Saving money is not a big deal. Everyone can do it and without much effort at that. The only thing that you need to do is keep yourself to a disciplined lifestyle and go nowhere near to those places that encourage you to spend money and you will have take the first step to saving money. One of the places where you will be tempted to buy things that you don’t need is the shopping mall. In fact shops display opulence for the sake of making people spend their money. When you spend money on things you don’t need you are actually wasting your efforts and time. Say goodbye to shopping and instead make a list and find if you can buy them online. Besides, shopping line will give you the opportunity to compare prices from many sellers and you don’t have to spend money on gas.
Say no to credit cards and if at all you need to keep a card for convenience then don’t carry them in your person when you move around your town. And don’t keep cash with you, except those little dollars that you may want for buying gas, cigarettes, a snack or lunch. Keeping wads of cash tucked in your wallet is a great incentive for your uncontrollable ...
... mind to act recklessly. Having a lot of cash can lead you into buying things on impulse. Most people who get into debt are impulse buyers. They will have no reason to use a product, but compulsive spenders that they are; they will spend a couple of hundred dollars when captured by the unruly behavior called impulse.
You cannot stop shopping for your daily needs, and that is when you get caught by all those sponsors and ads that encourage spending. If you shop for your family’s needs, you must also have seen those offers like the two-for-the-price-of-one sales pitches. Never be tempted by such clever selling tactics; there is nothing on this earth that comes for free. Don’t forget that the offer is really something to boost the seller’s sales figures. Why store something in your home with your money? The sellers should be doing it with their money, not yours. Instead why not consider keep the money in your account in a bank? It can earn interest. Money can work for your day in and day out that way.
Another way to save money is to buy used-once products that have lots of life still left. A refrigerator, a television or even a laundry machine are all good candidates for such a purchase. Did you know that a good many of homes sell their machines just for the sake of getting something new and not because they are no longer usable? Yes, it is true, that is what happens in many homes across the US. Besides you are also contributing to making the earth a green place to live. Machines take lots of energy to be made and that has to come from within the earth causing pollution. Isn’t it time for you to make that little contribution to save our earth from getting polluted any further than what it is today?
Say no to copious consumption of food. Store the leftover food in your refrigerator and use it if it is fresh still. Why break a whole pack of noodles if you can just take a little out that is just enough for the evening? Likewise why travel dozens of miles to fancy malls if you can get the same a block away from you home? Why not even share your car with your spouse when you go for work? Ponder over these options, make a list of expenses that has been plaguing your family and see how you can cut your expenses. Even the money that you spend on TV, Internet and phone can be saved by going for Charter Bundles. Money saved is money earned don’t forget.
