Spain Festivals
Spain is a country of festivals and there is not a single town, village or city which does not have the celebrations at least once a year. People love to celebrate the festivals for any reason as it could be harvest celebrations, day of local saint or any other reason. Spain is famous across the Europe for festival celebrations during the summer and spring seasons specially. Madrid is more famous for hosting number of recitals and concerts through out the year.
Many festivals are related to the visit of dance and theatre houses like Festival de Otono which is celebrated in October and Veranos de la Villa which is celebrated in the July and September. Infact there are festivals in almost every month of the year in different cities and towns of Spain like in January the festival of Three Kings is celebrated, February is also famous for celebrating one of the biggest festivals of country in the city of Cadiz, March and April are known for the Semana Santa Festival and Holy week Festival and other different religious festivals in the various towns of the country. Other festivals include Sant Jordi festival, Lovers-Roses Day ...

Valencia is known for The Fallas Festival as the city is all crowded with citizens and visitors enjoying the festivity of the carnival. May is the month of Corpus Christi Festival as a number of religious gatherings are held across the country. During June the festival of St John and the International Carnival of Dance and Music is also held in Granada. July is the month of celebrating the festival of Fiesta del Carmen and The Fishermen’s Feast Day Festival.
September is the season of harvesting and the festival of Wine Harvest is celebrated during the middle of September. Different bull fighting festivals and competitions are organized in various parts of the country during the month of October and the Columbus Day Festival is also celebrated in this month. In November, the festival of All Saints Day is celebrated across the country while during December the festivals of Constitution Day, Immaculate Conception and off course the Christmas celebrations are celebrated.Life in Spain is hardly possible without festivals and people from many parts of the world visit Spain just to participate and enjoy the festivity of these carnivals.
