Recycling of a printer cartridge provides a vital benefit to the society. With these benefits, all the consumers enjoy many environmental challenging benefits. The process of recycling is done in order to save fuel and money and also helps to prevent pollution and reduces garbage which results in neat, clean and healthy environment. For keeping the environment clean, many printer companies have take an initiative to remanufacture and do recycling by the means of refilling. It means that the way of recycling is to push the cartridge back to its place from where it has been purchased. The second way is to fill the cartridge and use again the recycled things.


Refilling or recycling of printer cartridges is really a very easy process that anyone can replenish but in some cases it is very difficult and messy.


Steps of refilling in Kodak 10 one colored Cartridge:

XI. Reseal that hole.


XII. If you leave the cartridge open for a night it will give you great result but if you have to send it to some other place then don’t forget to seal it.


Steps of refilling in Kodak 10 photo and colored Cartridge:


The names of the colors used in these cartridges are – blue i.e. cyan, red i.e. magenta and yellow. First step of refilling in this process remains same.


VIII. First of all, remove the lid. This is done with the help of a knife from the place where black and colored plastic intersected.


IX. With the help of a toothpick check the colors of the each chamber.
X. Fill about 5 ml ink in each chamber.


XI. Insert the needle in cartridge till the sponge saturated. Might be all the colors were not completely empty and the sponge become unable to soak the material completely.


XII. Now repeat the steps for other colors and fill up the other parts with syringe.

XIV. For good result leave it for a night and get tensed if few drops come out of it.
