As a car brand, Toyota is surely one in the top ranks. It is one of the major automobile companies in Japan which has made waves across the world. It specialty lies in bringing premium sedan and hatch back cars to the customers at a budgeted price, making them affordable by almost all sections of the society that has a decent earning potential. The Toyota Etios is one such sedan that has found many takers all over the world for its exquisite features and gorgeous looks. If you are planning for a new car, a look at the Toyota Etios will be worth it.

The Etios was especially manufactured for the Indian market, keeping Indian roads and sensibilities in mind. It had been first launched in the year 2010 and since then almost more than 30,000 units have been put on sale. First, it was the sedan and the “Liva” was released in early 2011. This was the hatchback model and it gained many admirers pretty soon.

There are quite a few levels of the Toyota Etios and they are J, G, G+, V and VX. The overall key features are more or less the same. The difference ...
... is in the facilities and power. It must also be said that though the commercial production takes place in India, the Engine Transmissions are imported from Japan from the parent company. This has made it possible for the manufacturers to keep their pricing low but maintain the same international standard as in some of the other leading cars of international repute on the Indian roads today.

There are the usual two versions, the petrol and the diesel versions. The maximum power of the petrol version is 90 PS while that of the diesel version is 68 PS. Both have 5 speed manuals. The mileage of the petrol version comes around 17.75 km/l while that of the diesel is 23.59 km/l. As far as the safety is concerned, both the Etios and the Etios Liva come with an immobilizer and Door Ajar Warning, preventing accidents. Although some customers feel that the car makes quite some noise while start up and on very bumpy roads, experts are working on it to solve the glitches.

This brief overview is just an attempt to capture the beauty and power of the Toyota Etios. The real car is much better and will definitely make heads turn wherever it goes.
