Wearing Heels Is Injurious To Health!
Cigarette smoking is injurious to health. We all have heard about it many times but still people continue to smoke ignoring its ill effects on lungs and heart in the long run. Similarly, there is another very commonly made blunder that effects health disastrously in the long run, but despite knowing about it, women in particular, continue to go on with it. Are you wondering what am I talking about? I am talking about the habit of wearing heels that go up to an inch or two. Yes, wearing heels is injurious to health and the effects can be disastrous.
If our posture while walking is not correct, then it affects several parts of our body. First one being the knees. After the ankles, the next most fragile joint in our body is the ball and socket joint in our knees. When you wear heels for a long duration and throw all your body weight on to your foot, knees resist the pressure and the joint gets damaged, sometimes the ligament tears off. If such a situation occurs then the only treatment is a total knee replacement surgery India. Although, doctors ...
... define it as a simple procedure that does not take too long, still the stress and trauma through which a patient who has to undergo a total knee replacement surgery in India goes, is just unimaginable. Then why not avoid it. If by just avoiding heels all the time, one can protect knees from severe damage, then it is always better to avoid wearing heels.
Orthopedic surgeons in delhi also claim that wearing heels affects the spinal cord too. As per the orthopedic surgeons in Delhi, we all generally tend to throw our weight on to the foot region while walking. It is important that our foot be comfortably placed on earth so that the back and spinal cord get enough support. If one wears heels then the foot support is lacking causing severe damage to the spinal cord and back. It may also lead to the requirement of a hip replacement in India. The doctors replace the damaged hipbone with an artificial one in this surgical procedure. The artificial bone is made up of material that provides the required mobility. Hip replacement in India is also one of the most common procedures that is being performed on women in India on a regular basis.
In this article, we have explained to you two very basic problems that occur due to wearing heels continuously. There are many more such problems that may surface as a consequence. Therefore, please advice your loved ones, friends and family members to try and avoid wearing long heels as much as possible.
