How To Develop Self Confidence In Yourself And Stick To It
It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes. I have always remained a timid and shy person all my life. I never really had the courage to take credits for what I achieved. I had this fear in me to go out in front of others and speak my heart out. I always used to feel so guilty and no matter how much hard I try, the negative voice inside me used to dominate my feelings. But at the same time, during such times of turmoil and struggles, there used to be a faint voice telling me all the good things and talents that I had within me. I believe that kept me going all the while. I wanted to make that inner voice of mine stronger so that I could achieve self satisfaction and inner joy. After all, it’s the basic need of every human being at the end of the day.

For people who find it difficult to be self confident, life can be a miserable and a complicated web which is a network of traps. Such people need help. Don’t worry as this is very natural and common. At the same time you can only take the horse to a pond but you cannot make it drink water from the pond. So a little bit of self help is necessary and you must make an effort to come out of your shell and ask for help. I am sure there will be friends and family members to offer you help. To begin with you need to know what a self confident person thinks like. If you are really a self confident person, you should believe what you think is right no matter who mocks or criticizes you. You have to overcome the fear that what you are doing maybe wrong and you should not worry about how you will be judged by others. Learn to admit your mistakes and learn something good out of the mistakes you commit. Learn to accept compliments graciously. Having a low self confidence about these things can be self destructive and stop you from living life to the fullest.
We all have the right to be happy. To begin the journey you have to clearly know where you are right now and where you need to go. Adjust your mindset according to your goal and learn to stay with it. Go back to the past and think about your life. You would have achieved at least something in your life. You must have been fairly good at academics in your school days, got an award in your first job for a great focus on discipline, collected the maximum funds, maintained a good quality in your job, managed something unique and more. Write it down on a piece of paper and read it out every day and bask in the glory of it for a few minutes. Once you are self confident learn to balance it. And remember Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. Come on, go for it!
