Every time a new form of treatment which is more efficient than the existing one is gaining popularity as it holds everything that can reduce the death rate like allopathy which gained popularity some 150-200 years back, however the research is always in progress as man never meet the 100% target, which means there is always a challenge of some life threatening diseases. So today we have a number of good treatment procedures with a much lesser death rate. In this manner treatment through stem cell therapy can be considered as a new advanced step which has a lot of potential.
The only major drawback in the form of allopathy is repetitive form of drug administration and its complications in the form of side effects. There are so many diseases in which one has to take drugs ...
... for the entire life, which can mentally harass anyone. Many experts believe regarding stem cell treatment procedure, that it can be the answer for the current complications of allopathic form of treatment as it is a drug free procedure. The only thing required for stem cell therapy is developed stem cells from the government approved laboratories where the quality and quantity of stem cells can be checked.
Stem cells are of two types i.e. Embryonic and adult. Embryonic stem cells are also known as totipotent, means it can regenerate indefinite and any type of cell. As its name suggests embryonic stem cells are derived from embryos. An embryo can be developed through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) by fertilizing the egg and sperm in the clinic outside the body. A single celled zygote after fertilization divides into 50-150 cells within 4-5 days. These embryonic cells are known as embryonic stem cells. Adult stem cells are present throughout the human body but they are tissue specific as present in already developed tissues. However they can differentiate into specific cells, for an instance mesenchymal stem cells can differentiate into bone, cartilage, fat, fibrobl, and muscle. These adult stem cells can be derived from the bone marrow in the laboratory.
Stem cells regeneration capability is the most important function which provides the strength to replace the damaged cell of the particular part of the body that need to be treated as per stem cell therapies. This form of treatment is gaining popularity and success in US, European Union, Middle east, India and its neighboring countries and spreading all over the world.
