How To Pack Effectively And Efficiently While Travelling?
Going on a holiday or a business trip is always exciting. Everyone looks forward to a good bout of relaxation or closing out a deal. But the things that has to be done before a trip is not planned out properly by many and it results in chaos. Thus, tension prevails in the air until the start of the journey especially when it comes to packing. There are hundreds of things that have to be kept and a possibility of suggestions from everyone else on effective packing, which results in complete confusion and because of this many things are left to the last minute. This results in scrambling for things and forgetting to pack quite a few things. When done in order and efficiently, packing can be made quite easy.
The first thing that is important for a travel be it a luxury trip or a business travel is clothes. If the number of days is decided, then calculate the number of clothes that are required for these days and pack accordingly. If the days are not exact or if the trip is for a long time, take clothes that can be re-used. For example, a set of tops for a pair of jeans, a couple of t-shirts for a pair of shorts, etc. this ...
... not only reduces the number of clothes greatly but also make travelling easier with an easily portable luggage. Next are the necessary under wears and other accessories. Place most of the clothing in the bottom of the travel bags and a couple of clothes in the hand luggage for emergency purposes. Clothes are something that will not be taken out during travel unless it is a long one.
Next are the vanity things. It is better to have a vanity bag or a toiletry bags. So that all the vanity things can be kept in a single bag and it will be easier to check if something is missing. Things that have to be kept first are the basic that are required for the trip which could be hair brush, tooth brush, soap, tooth paste, etc. depending upon the place of travel. It is better to keep the toiletry bag in the hand luggage rather than placing it with the rest of the luggage.
A first aid kit is important especially if it is an outdoor trip like picnics and treks. No one can stop minor causalities happening during such trips and it is always better to be prepared for such eventualities. Medications that are required for kids or elders during the trip can also be placed it in the first aid kit. It is better to place the kit in a place where it is easily accessible rather than placing them along the luggage which makes the access less easy during emergencies. Priority for a first aid kit should be given importance and should be the first thing that is packed.
Thus sort out the luggage according to the priority of the travel. Go from the most important and mandatory things to the least important things that may not be required for the travel. When travelling in flights, the weight of the luggage is restricted to a particular quantity. If there are no weighing machines at home, then a bag can be set aside with things that are not mandatory for the travel and can be given to the person coming to send off. Also, there is no point in carrying matching clothes and shoes for a holiday; it only makes the luggage hard to carry around. Mixing and matching the clothes and carrying a couple of footwear will make the luggage more portable.
