When you read about a mock emergency drill you become aware that evacuating a lot of people from small doors and through narrow corridors in a short amount of time is a difficult task. And things can easily go from being difficult to be down right terrible if the evacuation is not done in an organized manner. On the other hand an efficiently managed mock drill is very useful and allows people to face an eventuality more confidently. There is less likelihood of panic setting in when an evacuation does become necessary.

Now you may be wondering what all this has to do with your car, which seats just five to eight people most likely and they can get out fast enough if required to do so. But there is a connection though it is not about evacuating the car's passengers. It is about evacuating the exhaust gases that are produced in every cycle of your car's engine. If these are not evacuated quickly they will hang around and prevent the next lot of fuel from getting burnt. But that is not acceptable either as that would mean the engine would sputter and stop. It needs to be continuously burning fuel to keep running. So what ...
... the engine has to do is to you some of the power it generates to over come the back pressure and force the exhaust gases out. Though that works it means you have less power now available to drive your car.

A better option is to make the evacuation more organized and make it possible for the exhaust gases to leave quickly. And you can do that with the help of an exhaust header. An aftermarket exhaust header will make sure that the exhaust gases leave the car in an organized manner. The exhaust gases from the several cylinders will be sequenced properly so that they do not run into one another and then taken till the catalytic converter. You can improve the efficiency with which the gases leave the car further by opting for a cat back exhaust along with an exhaust header.
