In Depth 8 Days Tour Of Egypt

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt

Arrive to Cairo airport, meet and assist by your tour manager then transfer to your hotel for check in with an exclusive air conditioned modern van. Our rep will provide you with detailed info about your holiday itinerary advice all procedures and finalize all pick up time for your holiday time, overnight in Cairo.


Day 2: Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum Tour

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you in day tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, varying between six-thousand and even thirteen-thousand years old, and Valley temple facing the great statue. All places are wheelchair accessible. Lunch at a good quality restaurant. Then move onto the Egyptian Museum, well-paved place, where you can see the collection of Tutankhamen among other splendid pharaonic artifacts. Then transfer to see Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Luxor-dinner and breakfast will be served on board. Overnight inside your compartment.


Day 3: Luxor Sightseeing

... at Luxor train station where you will be met & assisted then transferred to enjoy tour in the west bank visiting the famous Valley of Kings which was used for burial and many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are for King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, it was built by the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Then our tour is passing by the colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes ( Remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III ), then cross back to the east bank in Luxor to visit Karnak Temples, it is dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. End your tour exploring the Temple Of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty and was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Back to hotel and overnight in Luxor.


Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

After breakfast transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan about a 3 hours and half drive from Luxor to Aswan. Upon arrival, Upon arrival your personal Egyptologist guide will lead the way to Philae Temple, it was dedicated to goddess Isis, the temple was transferred on Agilika Island due to the High Dam construction . Continue the day in Aswan to the Unfinished Obelisk, its owner is not known but it offers unique insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques. Now it is the time to visit the High Dam which is an engineering miracle constructed in 1960 and finished in 1970. Sail and move around Elephantine Island by a felucca boat. Back to hotel and overnight in Aswan.


Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples

Get your breakfast in box, prepare your self for the life time trip and get ready at 03:15 AM in your hotel reception. Our guide with an AC modern van will pick you up to travel for 3 hours to Abu Simbel. It is the main attraction in your tour being the great sun temple of Ramses II and the temple of his wife queen Nefertari, both temples were discovered in 1813, it was almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were transferred in 1960 by Unesco and the Egyptian government to save them from the rising water of the Nile. End the tour driving back to Aswan to spend some free walking time before. Then return to Aswan. After that transfer to Aswan railway station for departure to Cairo. Sleeping train from Aswan to Cairo is about 14 hours. Overnight on board the train.


Day 6: Back to Cairo

Breakfast aboard sleeper train before arriving Giza train station, where you will be met and assisted then you will be transferred to your hotel for free time at leisure( you will check into your room as early as possible ). Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo. Optional excursions available in Cairo to visit Sakkara and Memphis.


Day 7: Optional Tour to Alexandria

Breakfast at hotel in Cairo then travel for about 03 hours to Alexandria for a day tour. Start at Pompey's Pillar, a monument of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, then continue to Qaitbey Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Proceed to move around the grand Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles. Overnight in Cairo.


Day 8: Final departure

Breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for final departure.
