Nj Carpet Was Totally Perfect For Finishing Our Basement!

When my husband and I purchased a wonderful little house in New Jersey last year, we needed some nice NJ carpet. It had long been our dream to own our own home and this purchase was our first step outside the world of apartment renting. The house was just a wonderful little place with enough bedrooms for me, him and our ten month old little baby, Gertrude. I definitely liked that the flooring in the upstairs was hardwood, however the basement was not finished yet and the floor down there was just concrete.

When we bought the house we both agreed that we wanted to finish the basement directly, before we got caught up in other things. But, I was a little surprised when my husband was ready to start working on the basement after only a few days of being in the new house.

He was thrilled about the idea of building a huge T.V. room down there so he could host superbowl parties and watch action movies with his pals. So, we got to work and hired some framers to come over and erect the walls we would need to divide the basement into the television room, a spare bedroom, and a laundry room. ... job and were done in a very short amount of time.

There were still a couple other things we needed to get done such as doing the wiring and sheetrocking. Things were still going very smoothly and we did not encounter any problems along the way. Once we had the walls up and built, we debated for a while as to whether we would be using wallpaper or paint in order to cover the walls. Finally we agreed on some paint and a guy came over to texture the walls before we could paint. We wanted to do the painting ourselves so we hired a babysitter to watch our daughter so we could get it done without distraction.

We were finally done and had a great basement where we could do all the things we wanted to. We only had one last step, which was basement carpet. We were rather naïve, and had not really discussed what sort of carpet we would buy, thinking we would just get something simple. We were running out of cash now, and we were hoping that we could find a true bargain. A friend recommended that we search online and sure enough, we found a wonderful website selling NJ carpet at a great price. We were ready to complete our basement in style!
