And of course Christmas is a definite bank holiday. Royal wedding is also a bank holiday in Scotland. Officially banks have got more number of holidays than any other sector in Scotland. But then it is almost same as that of the other sectors. May day is a bank holiday in Scotland just like India and US. Overall eleven days are declared as bank holidays in bank holiday calendar statutorily in Scotland.
