Can Mobile Phones Be Replaced By Voip Phones?

Imagine the plight of trying to reach somebody when they’re not home. You leave a message on their phone, and you get anxious. You can’t help but to call back and check every 20 minutes, especially when you want to convey some important message or news. Besides all that, you don’t know if the person you’re trying to reach is okay or not. And if they live cities away, who knows what could’ve happened. Well, this was the scenario in every house hold eons ago. Nowadays, mobile phones rule the world.
It was recorded in 2006 that there were 233 million mobile users in the US. Every adult owns one and so do quite a lot of kids. Mobile phones are just that, mobile communication. You can carry them wherever you go, make calls, attend calls and even divert calls. Mobile phones are inexpensive than the landline phone. It’s the easiest and quickest ways of communication. You no longer need to worry about the whereabouts of your favorite person. You can keep in touch all the time. Apart from making calls, cell phones have devised another way of communication: Short Messaging Service(SMS). SMS or text as it is now known ...
... as today, is super fast, and costs close to nothing. The person may be away from his/her mobile device, but your message reaches them in a twinkling.
Cell phones manufactured in the late 1970’s held these basic functions. Prior to that, cell phones were strictly restricted to automobiles, planes, and functioned as radio communication devices in the Military. The earliest form of a cell phone resembled big bricks, with an antenna. In fact, the mobile radio device in the military was as long as a man’s forearm. These devices were especially difficult to carry around. From then cell phones have evolved immensely and possess amazing new features, that even computers don’t stand a chance.
Smartphones are the new generation cell phones, where you can make video calls to hold presentations, business deals, browse the Internet at super fast speeds, take pictures, record and listen to music, play games, read the daily news and everything else that a computer can do. But even computers can’t be used to take pictures or record videos on the go, can they? So a smart phone is an all inclusive convenience package and the best highlight of the 20th century.
Cell phones are really cool things, but up until a few years ago, nobody ever thought of the disadvantages. And there are plenty of those: Cell phones are not always reliable. Sometimes you may not get the tower (signal receptors), other times the battery may die. Think about an emergency situation, if either of the two happens, won’t you get frustrated? You did spend some valuable money on that piece of technology, after all.
Right so these days battery and signal coverage problems are being fixed. But the more advanced the technology, the harmful degree of the problems increase. Cell phones are known to cause health problems, severe ones. It is said that the electromagnetic waves from the cell phone reaches our brain and disrupts the activity. Key brain cells maybe killed, headaches are triggered and sleep lost. And it gets even worse with kids and pregnant woman.
This is no joke, cell phones can be really hazardous to health so avoid spending long hours over the mobile phone. The new generation VoIP phones are not that harmful, and have plenty of advantages. VoIP phones look like any other landline phone. But they have longer cables and better clarity. This is because VoIP phones work through the Internet unlike landline phones. This also ensures cheaper call rates. VoIP phones like Charter’s telephone include News and weather cast, touch screens, caller ID’s, call forwarding or rejecting and many other features that cell phones gloat about minus all the hazards. Not only that, these days VoIP phones are becoming portable too. It is possible that VoIP phones will soon replace the working of the telephone networks.
