Pollution is the biggest bane on humanity. Virtually nothing has been left to be polluted anew. Water stands polluted and so does air that we breath, and the latest to join the bandwagon is electronic pollution from microwave towers installed all over the place for mobile phones. But not all is last remember. There is still something that we can do; use your car lesser, avoid buying a mobile every year, and have fewer cloths to satisfy you carving for fashion. Why not we make a beginning today and pledge to recycle the waste that we throw away daily? Why not find new uses for them? Even the innocuous looking CD can be our first candidate to begin with. Give it a try and make our earth a better place to live.

Water pollution: Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink. Forget drinking, how many of us can view a little lake on our commute to our workplace? Even if we do, it’s highly polluted. The Earth’s made up of 70% of water. 98% of this water is frozen, present in ice (and global warming is taking care of that). About less than 1% of this water is available for drinking, and not in hygienic conditions. Apart ...
... from the limited availability of fresh water, the reason why most people don’t get water everywhere is pollution. There’s pollution because of toxic factory drain outs and oil spillages because of ships. Water pollution not only decreases the availability of drinking water but also kills all the marine life, making the most exquisite underwater creature extinct.

When substances harmful for living beings are released into the atmosphere, we will call it air pollution. How our air gets polluted? The smoke and fog from industries can pollute the atmosphere. Then the chemical waste from manufacturing industries can pollute the air. Then the emissions from motor vehicles can cause air pollution. Then the chlorofluorocarbons from refrigerators can cause air pollution. Even the domestic waste can cause air pollution. You all know that air pollution can cause drastic diseases. If you have a common awareness about the air pollution, then you are not following ways that can reduce air pollution. Like the proverb- better now than never, all of us have to come forward and contribute something to tackle air pollution.

Global warming has become the biggest problem today. There are a lot of campaigns and groups who are trying to spread awareness around the world. It is the increase in temperature in the Earth’s atmosphere that started in the late 19th century with the hole in the ozone layer and is expected to go on increasing if the pollution in earth is not brought under control. At present, people can find subtle changes in the temperature. The minor climatic changes happening at present are summer starting a month early, winter extending by a month, etc. are. If this situation continues, then there are chances for the earth to have drastic climatic changes in the future.

Do you know that noise pollution can be alarming for your health and mind? The horning of the automobiles, sounds at construction work, aircraft noise, etc. These are quite irritating and disturbing. They can cause psychological and physiological effects. It causes even problems in health and behavior. Not to forget, the most common is the hearing loss. Many people lose their ability to hear because of noise pollution. Noise pollution can cause mental depression, anxiety and other stress related diseases. Even sometime it can lead to cardiovascular diseases like heart attack. Seriously, important steps should be taken to curb the effects of noise pollution.

The governments are taking measures to control pollution through various methods. Say for example, even the kind of cars that are manufactured is entirely different from the earlier. Governments have advised the automobile manufacturers to produce vehicles that emit less amount toxic gases and steps are been taken in those lines. Apart from these there are plenty of Non- Governmental organizations working to preserve green environments. To encourage this there are awards that are introduced every year and many of the companies and households are competing in maintaining a green environmental.

Being a freelance writer and blogger, I enjoy writing on a slew of topics including entertainment, technology, hobbies, human activities, nature, and environment. I like to spread awareness about the importance of home security. As a matter of fact, I myself have installed a reliable security in ADT Alarm System to prevent burglary and break-ins at home.
