When it comes to selling more stock, it’s not just a question of shoehorning more of it onto the shop floor. Instead, you have to think about how you are presenting your items to the customer. Are they really eye-catching enough? Can you make changes that will improve the appearance of your product range and lead to more money going into the till?

The good news is that you can. Presenting your stock properly isn’t just about putting items on shelves and arranging smaller items on the shop counter. You can also make good use of dump bins to present alternative product lines to the customer. These dump bins work extremely well when you have one or perhaps a handful of items you want to present in a particular way. The great thing about the bins is that they have a very small footprint. This means you can almost always find room for them around your shop, no matter what size it might be.

They also offer a better way to catch the eye of the customer who is browsing around the shop. You ...
... can position the bins in strategic places and monitor the positions that seem to sell the most stock for you. This can give you some interesting and highly valuable information to use when arranging your stock.

Another way to be more creative when adding products to the shop floor is to consider how each individual product could best be displayed. This is particularly worthwhile when it comes to smaller items that could be viewed as add-on purchases. For example if someone is buying wrapping paper they might also be inspired to buy tags to go with it. These tags could be hung from a euro slot and attached to the edge of a shelving unit rather than being on the unit itself. Thus they don’t take up any shelf space but they are still where they will be needed the most.

As you can see it makes total sense to ensure you have the best array of options available to you when you are stocking your shop. By combining different presentation options you can display your products in the best possible combinations and places. Being creative just means looking at your shop in a completely new way. This can be tricky to begin with but once you have the right shop fittings – including your euro slot hangers – you will be able to find the right solutions for every situation.

In fact your own creativity can definitely help you sell more products in both the short term and the long term. This means you can invest in more products and point of sale items to bring in even better rewards in the future.
