Cinnamon Kitchen Makes Its Tv Debut On The Hairy Bikers’ Christmas Party
Head chef at London bar and restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen, Abdul Yaseen, will make his first appearance on the small screen this year with a slot on The Hairy Bikers’ Christmas Party. To be aired on BBC2 at the beginning of December – date TBC – the show will see renowned TV presenters and wannabe chefs David Myers and Simon ‘Si’ King tour the UK to gather inspiration for a very special Christmas party.
Headed up by founder and executive chef Vivek Singh, Cinnamon Kitchen is the smaller, more casual sister venue to The Cinnamon Club, one of the renowned Indian restaurants in London and serves up modern Indian cuisine in the heart of the City. And with dedicated Christmas menus and an al fresco space for hire for private parties, it’s the ideal place to celebrate in style.
Hopping off their bikes long enough to swing by and check out Abdul’s canapés -- having won the Square Meal Canapé Cup for the third year running – the boys learn everything there is to know about the small parcels of deliciousness, from the inspiring ingredients to the expert cooking ...
... technique and meticulous presentation. The Bikers also worked with Abdul to develop a bespoke ‘turkey vindaloo’ recipe; acting as a centerpiece for their festive feast, it’s the perfect way to make use of all those turkey leftovers!
Along with inspiration from a host of other experts, The Bikers take their new-found knowledge and put the recipes devised by their contributors into practice – adding, of course, their own cheeky irreverent flourishes along the way. Hosted for the many good people they’ve met over the years, The Hairy Bikers’ Christmas Party is sure to add fun to the festive period – and along with Abdul’s award-winning canapés, sound culinary knowledge.
When it comes to top restaurants in London, The Hairy Bikers can count on Cinnamon Kitchen to deliver.

Cinnamon Kitchen
Rather fittingly located in the historic East India Company spice warehouses, transformed into the stunning Devonshire Square development, Cinnamon Kitchen is just a short walk from Liverpool Street station. With celebrated executive chef Vivek Singh at the helm, the restaurant serves modern Indian cuisine inspired by the same ethos of the highly acclaimed Cinnamon Club, one of the popular Indian restaurants in London, but in a more relaxed and informal setting.
