Whenever any government entity needs money, they look for a way to tax the vices such as alcohol and cigarettes. But lighting up a cigarette in a public place will land you a fine at the very least, so no one wants to risk that. Using an electronic device is the best way to conform with the laws of the land while at the same time being able to enjoy having a cigarette. This is not like an ordinary cigarette in that it will not blow off smoke that others cannot tolerate. Those who want to smoke can still do so in public places when they use this device. There are some people who feel that it is up to them to live the way that they choose to do so and figure if they drink and smoke, it is not the business of the government to stop them.
