Smoking used to be very popular, with even doctors endorsing certain brands. Smoking cigarettes started to fall out of favor in the 1970s. Then studies showed that second hand smoke can also be dangerous. And then lawyers got involved and all but bankrupted the entire industry. Cigarette smoking has been banned from movies and TV but still people smoke.

The do-gooders have been targeting smokers for some time, although the government is not about to let go of the taxes collected on cigarettes and give them to organized crime (this they actually did learn from prohibition). But they are going to make it as hard for you as possible to smoke. Because they know what is best. Those who want to smoke in places today can get around the laws once again when they use electronic cigarettes that they get online.

Cigarette smoking used to be common everywhere. Today, it is something that pretty much has to be done underground. Those who smoke, who feel that they have the right to do what they want with their own bodies, can still enjoy the smoking when they use these electronic devices.
