Because of the rich mythological connection that this location of the two Yamunotri Gangotri dhams, it is visited by a large number of devotees every year.

Apart from that there is the famous valley of flowers that serves as a great touris spot. During your dham you can visit this valley that is picturesque and beyond question utterly marvelous. It lies close to Joshimath and can be reached by trekking.
