Malaysia – Melting Pot Of Multi Ethnic Cultures

Malaysia with its spectacular beaches, modern cities with skyscrapers, exotic wildlife, steep mountains, sleepy tribal villages and great food attracts millions to its fold.
Malaysia is a country located in South east Asia. Malaysia is said to be two countries in one cleaved in half by the South China Sea. One part is located on a peninsula in Asian mainland and other part is situated on the northern third of the island of Borneo. The peninsular Malaysia or West Malaysia is home to bulk of population of Malaysia and its cities. It also more developed. Within peninsular Malaysia, the west coast is more developed and urbanized and is separated from more rural east coast by a mountain range namely the Titiwangsa. While the peninsula homes a multicultural mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian flavors, Borneo hosts a wild jungle of orang- utans, granite peaks and remote tribes.
Borneo is loved by nature lovers. It is comparatively unpolluted and without too much of development. It is the tremendous scope for wildlife destinations that makes Borneo or East Malaysia attractive. The two states of Sabah and Sarawak are ...

Standing at a height of four thousand and ninety five Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia. In its shadows is Kinabalu National Park which is declared a UNESCO world heritage site for its extreme bio-diversity. The mountain is very popular with tourists as the climb is very scenic and it can be achieved without any special skills in mountaineering. One start out in lush green forests and as you moves on vegetation gets sparse and at the end there is only granite. It is an attractive part of tour package to Malaysia.

Petronas Towers is the important landmark of Kuala Lumpur. Standing at a height of one thousand four hundred fifty three feet, it is the tallest twin structure of the world. Central Market is now an important landmark of Malaysian culture and heritage. Originally a wet market, it is classified as a Heritage site by the Malaysian Heritage Society. It is in the heart of the city and strategically located. As a tribute to its multi racial culture which exists in peace and perfect harmony, Central Market has created a corner to display multi ethnicity and earmarked the stalls based on features of each race.
