Daily protest actions have become a problem for many countries. The most typical causes of protests actions are the differences in ideas and perceptions on certain important things. Most of the time, protests are means to awaken the masses of what’s happening over the country. However, not all people are in favour of protest action but people still continue to do so because they are fighting for their beliefs and ideals with the hope that their political leaders would listen. Lately, the latest protest actions that we know of are the Occupy Wall Street and Tea Party. The cause they're fighting for has a similar idea since they want the “political power” to be in the proper hands. These actions focus on other issues concerning the government, taxes, civil and political rights including the present state of the economy. When talking about the Tea Party protests, one won't fail to include the subject ofTea Party Racism. This is because it can be entirely true. Tea Party protestors are in fact made of Republicans. The issues of racism has always been attached to Republicans. They are very well-known for fighting against allowing African American/Black Americans to vote. This has been quite noticeable if they included the citizenship issues against Obama and the fact that he wasn't a natural born citizen of America. They also criticize many of his works, even when there aren’t enough basis. It’s too bad, because the Tea party is generally composed of the wealthy and aging citizens of America who just happens to be the Republicans.

Occupy Wall Street propaganda mainly talks of rational things. The issues are justified since it concerns the economy and employment. They don't focus on political leaders as often, but focus their attention on the main problem. The most glaring problems with the movement is how the corporate people have gained most of the advantages instead of the greater majority. To simplify the issue, it deals on the “rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer” because of the taxation system where the ordinary worker pays additional taxes. The actions also involves the wages received which are comparatively small but subject to high taxes.

However, even though both of the protest movements manly the Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party differs in the problems they're fighting for, it has certainly awakened many people. Nonetheless, America awoke to the issues that affect the masses like the political and socio-economic issues.

The last few years have seen the rise of two large political movements: Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party.
