Hindi And Its Various Forms

Hindi is a common word associated with many things Indian. India’s official language is Hindi. People living in the northern parts of the country are grouped as Hindi. The word ‘Hindi’ is also linked to festivals observed by Indian Hindu communities. Hindi, the word when joined with other words makes some regular spoken terms in India. Hindi Language:
Hindi Language is the official language of India. Hindi language is widely spoken in the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. In Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Hindi and Urdu words are mixed and interchangeably used. Standard Hindi is derived from the Khariboli. Hindi is also the language of communication as stipulated by the Indian central government. Along with English, Hindi language is one of the important languages of our country. Government documentation is prepared in Hindi, English and official language of that state.

Hindi Community:
The states where Hindi is spoken locally and is the mother tongue of people living there are popularly known as Hindi community. ...

Hindi Festivals:
The Hindi Community people in the country mostly belong to Hindu castes. Common festivals celebrated by the Hindi community members are Holi, Diwali and Navratri. These are important Hindu festivals spreading the message of love and goodwill. Apart from these, there are other religious festivals like Maha Shivaratri, Basant Panchmi, Teej and Karwa Chautt.

Apart from the religious festivals, the Republic of India celebrates the Hindi Diwas on 14th September. This date in the year 1949, Hindi language was officially declared as the official language of the country. On this day, every year, the government felicitates writers and poets who have contributed with the Hindi language.

Hindi Movies:

The Hindi movies have been a part of every Indian’s life. From the first movie, Hindi movies have enthralled its viewers. The Indian Film Industry based in Mumbai releases a variety of feature films every year. Comedy, action, animation and family drama are some of the genres popular among its audience. Hindi movies truly highlight the lifestyle of Indian communities and castes. Hindi matrimony functions and rituals are beautifully filmed in numerous Hindi movies. There are many wedding songs in the Hindi movies, which are popular among Indians. These Hindi wedding songs from movies are played in every function of Hindi Matrimony. The rituals have these songs playing in the background. The Baraat, common in these weddings also have people dancing to these tunes.
