The joy of becoming a parent for the first time is one of the most memorable moments in life. The fear and struggle that a mother undergoes is something very special. Lot of people face a lot many challenges while delivering a child. Each and every mother has her own tales to tell. The experience in delivering a baby can be written in pages. However, the story never ends there. This could just be a beginning. Nursing children from their birth and getting them settled in life is one of the most important tasks that every parent has. The way in which a child is molded to an individual requires attention. As the child grows, parents have to be even more careful. The task lies in making them good individuals in the society. The success of the child is always a contribution to the parents.

The parents have to always change their attitude towards their children as they grow. The first thing that a child would expect from its parents is Love. While most people in the world bring up their child showering at most affection and care. There are people who do not do the same. There are instances where a child is brought ...
... up rudely. It is because of these reasons the child becomes ruthless when they become grownups. Parents do not teach their children what is good and bad for them. The child is only made to work. We can state numerous instances, if we take a look at the crime stories. On the other hand, showering too much love and affection on a child is also not advisable at all times. The children need to be told what is good or bad. Children have to be molded, just like the gold smith who makes gold. Gold becomes precious only when it’s put in fire. Without this process a gold cannot have all its properties. Likewise, children need to be punished to some extent, in order to get them under control. Hence both love and molding needs to seek a balance for the betterment of the child.

Before thinking about correcting a child, it is always important that the parents demonstrate an exemplary behavior towards their children. This is because most children take examples from their parents. It is the duty of the parent to show a way of living as and when they grow. On the other hand the child also knows the value of its parents and behaves in a similar fashion. Hence the parents do not have to worry much about their children and they know for sure, the child has adopted all the good qualities that they have inculcated in them.

There is an interesting story that most of us would have come across at some point in our lives. The story is all about a mother and her son. This story was narrated to me by one of my friend while sitting and chatting over my phone powered by ATT Home Phone. So one day a lady was carrying her child through the vegetable and fruits market. This story is quite old and hence there were no facilities in those days like the super markets we have today. The lady was carrying her child and was bargaining with the vegetable vendor. At that time a fruit vendor was passing that way carrying a basket full of fruits. Looking at the basket, the boy was tempted to pick up a fruit. Hence the boy silently picked one from the basket without anybody’s the knowledge. When the mother finished buying her vegetables, to her amusement found that a boy had a fruit in his hand. The mother was happy about the boy eating the fruit and hence did not ask the boy a single word about the fruit. This slowly became a habit for the boy and he started to steal small things without any body’s attention. The boy grew up, and one day the cops came to the door, to catch him. The mother was worried that her boy had committed a crime and has turned to a dacoit.

The mother did not have an answer to the questions that people asked her. All she could do was sit in the corner of the room and cry. She remembered the day the boy picked a fruit from a fruit vendor’s basket. Had she warned the boy not to pick to take others thing without their permission, this day would not have come and the cops would not be standing at her door step. Now it is too late for his son to realize this and stop all that he is doing. The moral of the story is that children have to be molded when they are young and it is not possible to change their habits once they are grown.
