What is a historical thesis?
Every student that is doing masters has to face the challenge of writing a history dissertation. It is a project of research in which a student chooses a topic of his interest and researches on it and then compiles his research in a systematic order in the form of a book. Primary sources of historical information are those sources that were produced when the event occurred.
Secondary sources of information comprises of all the subsequent newspaper articles, databases, journals, web-sites, etc.

5.Presentation
Your institute will provide you with certain standards of presenting your data. You should strictly follow those standards. Moreover, present your data in such a way that it is readable and understandable to the audience. It should not contain any vague ideas.
6.Rules and regulations
Your institute will provide you with rules referring your paper. They usually are as follows:
Word limit: you should not exceed the word limit of 8,000 10,000 words.
Number of pages
Plagiarism: acknowledge all direct quotations and include citations where necessary.
Submission date
