I guess I�m getting old. Somebody asked me about Music Instructor and I asked back, �Which one?�. Stupid, but I have heard neither about the Music Instructor hip hop band, nor about their cult album Super Fly. Unfortunately, this is a popular album to download.

You might wonder why I say �unfortunately�. I say it for a good reason. I believe that listening to music is supposed to be a relaxing experience, which relieves from the stress of the day. However, the lyrics of Music Instructor are everything but soothing. They are violent and I think this is hardly what we, and above all the kids, need into our full of crime society.

I am a parent and I object against kids listening to songs, which lack talent but are full of hatred towards other people. I don�t mean that fake peace and harmony are better but they at least do not push the button of violence.

Why do people need to listen to lyrics that use foul language that downgrades individuals and society in general? The world is already an unsafe place. Why should anyone become famous for encouraging youngsters to ...
... continuing hating and making matters worse?

For instance, I was shocked by recently released statistical data. I couldn�t believe that 1% of the Americans are in prison on various charges! And this does not include all those criminals, who are still free! In my opinion, there is a direct correlation between what people are watching/listening to and the constant increase in crime.

I believe that songs, which use foul language and are hateful in nature influence how the people, who listen to them, behave. When your mind gets a constant supply of negative feelings, these feelings take over you, killing everything good in you.

So, you can download the Super Fly album by Music Instructor but I certainly won�t admire this. When you shop for music and see that an album has a disclaimer that if you are purchasing for a youngster, you should get the cleaned version instead, this tells me enough about the quality of lyrics. I prefer not to fill my ears, head and heart with litter!
