It is famed that Lord Vishnu lives here in winters and it is the gateway to the Badrinath. The major attraction of this place is Narasimha Temple. It is dedicated to Lord Narsimha and is over 1200 years old. Lord Narasimha is believed to be the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
