If you want more power from your car's engine there are some obvious options and some not so obvious ones. Of these some are easy to implement whereas others may require drastic modifications which may not be easily possible. For example you can increase the cylinder capacity and burn more fuel with each stroke to get more power. Or you can use a fuel that gives a more powerful explosion to generate more power. But these are simple obvious methods which have already been optimized enough. Pushing beyond the set limits for them will mean a less efficient car or can even lead to a dangerous situation if for example you burn a fuel that explodes with so much force that it damages the engine components.

Then there are not so obvious ways to increase the power. For example by reducing the amount of power that the engine uses to run itself so that it has more power to use to run the car. Now you may wonder why the engine needs power to run itself. Well just as a power plant needs to consume a fraction of the power it generates to power the facilities of the power plant similarly the engine uses some power to run itself. For ...
... example it has to overcome back pressure to drive the piston in and out of the cylinders at a high speed. Then you may ask what is this back pressure?

Well back pressure happens when the exhaust gases are not able to leave via the exhaust system fast enough. So the engine needs to build up pressure to push them out. And you can get more power from your car's engine by reducing back pressure with the help of products such as exhaust headers and cat back exhausts. Both these products make it smoother and faster for the gases to leave. Exhaust header is installed before the catalytic converter and the cat back exhaust is installed after the catalytic converter. These are not expensive and will make your engine give a better performance. You can buy them online from the comfort of your home. You can know more at www.ilovebodykits.com.
