Ferrari Ff: Focus On Chassis And Interior
Now available at Beverly Hills Ferrari, the new FF is the revolutionary four-seat Ferrari, the precursor of an innovative GT sports car concept providing exceptional versatility and performance.
The FF sets the benchmark for a new generation of chassis which is made in aluminum and is mostly a space frame construction. Different alloys have been employed throughout to guarantee maximum efficiency and an improved performance-weight ratio. Cast nodes have been used to boost structural rigidity and to lower the weight. The new Ferrari FF’s chassis has also been designed hand-in-glove with the bodywork to minimize the number of components used with a result of a 10% lighter chassis than the ones from previous generation and a 6% greater torsional rigidity.
The Ferrari FF interior conveys a unique allure: it is extremely comfortable and elegant, enticed with sophisticated trim and detailing. The FF has the best cabin space and occupancy comfort in its segment, thanks to its four generous seats ensuring each occupant an excellent comfort and access to board equipment. The 450 liters boot size is unprecedented for a ...
... car on this segment, and the vehicle versatility allows to separately folding down both rear seats to acquire a total of 800 liters trunk space. This means, for example, that four occupants can bring with them up to four standard-size trolley cases, two golf bags or two children’s stroller. The central section of the rear seat can also be folded down to accommodate particular bulky items, such as a large golf bag or two pair of skis. In its two-seater configuration, the new Ferrari FF can be used to stow any kind of hobby or leisure activity equipment imaginable, including two full sets of diving gear or sailing kits, for instance.
The front seats comfortably accommodate taller occupants up to and over 195 cm (just under 6 ft. 4.7 in) and up to 185 cm (6 ft. 1in) in the rear. They will be as comfortable as they are in their own lounge, as the FF is a car that makes driver and passengers feel very much at home. Its cabin also includes no less than 20 liters of smaller storage compartments for the kids of odds.
The interior features a dual-zone climate control and all four occupants have a generous number of independently adjustable air vents at their disposal.
