How To Buy The Best Downtown Toronto Condos
House hunting usually means a lot of time-consuming research and sometimes futile running around. If you are looking for Toronto new Condos, then the Condo Chicks are your guide to a pleasant condo buying mission.
Location the Deciding Factor
How do you decide if a particular location is best suited for you? You may like the Toronto new condos in a particular area. It might even suit your budget. But is this the right condo for you? Is the area safe? Your ideal place would be, near an intersection within easy commuting distance to the workplace or school, as the case may be, to the various members of your family. If the locality has schools, hospitals, banks, a supermarket and a library close to the area, you virtually recession proof your buy. Talk to members of the association of downtown Toronto condo you are planning to buy. If you want to learn about any problems that are likely to plague you later, they are your best source of information. You may also learn about things the seller may have intentionally or unintentionally neglected to inform you.
The Cost Factor
Don’t reject ...
... a downtown Toronto condo out of hand just because you feel that the size is too small. It is the floor plan that really matters. There are some really big condos that look cramped and shabby, no matter how you rearrange the furniture. So, take the time to view the floor plan. Some of the Toronto new condos have a zero waste floor plan. The overall area of the condo will probably be small. But since space has been utilised efficiently, they look larger. Also the higher up you move the more you pay. It will be worth it if there is a beautiful view and more importantly, if you can spare the money.
Other Just as Valid Considerations
Before you take the plunge and pay for your downtown Toronto condos, take an objective view of the following points.
• The higher the floor the more the resale value of your condo.
• The lower levels don’t get enough natural light especially when there are adjacent high rise buildings.
• The higher up you are the better your chances of peaceful sleep as there will be lesser traffic noise.
• The higher you are, the further you’ll have to climb, if there is a power failure.
• If can’t afford to buy Toronto new condos, you need to find out, if the association members, of the old condo you are planning to buy, are paying their maintenance regularly. If they aren’t there must be a reason. Investigate.
• Finally, what are the amenities you are paying for? Do you really need them? Will you put them to good use if not now, then at a later date?
