Lowering Springs - For Faster Response
You do not talk to your car by voice and neither does it talk back, though that may change soon as cars now do have systems that inform the driver of certain things by voice such as to wear the seat belt. But it is unlikely you will be conversing with the car any time soon to control it and you will continue to use the standard controls such as the gear shifter, steering wheel and the foot pedals for a while. But if you did talk to your car you would notice that it does not respond immediately, it takes some time to do it. Though this time delay is very small it can be critical at times. And why should it be there. After all the car does not think as a person would. Well the car does not think but it can be that the car is busy doing something else and that will cause a delay.
Well that may still not have made the reason for the delay clear to you so let me explain further. Take for example that you want to turn the car sharply to the left, but at the moment from a previous action the car is still rolling to the right. So when you command it to turn left the initial job of the force making the car turn left will be to ...
... stop the roll of the car to the right, and only then will that force be able to start the car turning left. And that extra time taken will appear to you as a delay. The lesser the response time the better is the handling of the car. And the way to reduce this response time is to reduce the amount of roll. And you can do that with lowering springs.
You can also make your car more stable in other ways now that you appreciate the advantages of a more stable car. One cool way is to opt for car spoilers which make the car hug the road more at high speeds and thus improve its handling. These products do not cost a lot and give you great value for your money.
