Have you ever had one of those dreams where you are walking down the beach on a hot summers day, and your body is looking good. You have great legs, chiseled arms, and that glorious six-pack. Oh yeah, your looking good, people are looking at you thinking; I want to be like that person. Then all of a sudden you wake up from your dream, you look in a mirror and you are forced to face reality. If you have not had a dream like that, you have probably at some point thought about it or fantasized it. So what is it; that we want so badly about hot abs, why do we beat ourselves whenever we look into the mirror? But the biggest question is why do we not ever do anything about it? Habits, they can be a good thing, but they can also be a bad thing. Most people are stuck in a habit, and unfortunately most people are stuck in the habit of laziness, and not only are those people stuck in laziness but they are also stuck in their stubbornness. If people who desire flat abs would take the time and be honest with themselves, they can probably be pretty surprised on what they can accomplish. I am a firm believer that what ever you set ...
... your mind to, you can achieve.

So I want to give some keys about how to achieve those goals when you finally decide that you want to go for those flat abs. The first step is probably the hardest, but if you can get past this, than you have a great chance at achieving your goals. You must change you eating habits, which means no more midnight snacks, no more sweets, no more buffets. You need to start eating smart. Set a time at night when you stop eating, some people do not eat after 6 pm, but anything between 6 and 8pm, is a good time, do not eat and then go to bed. Eat in portions, do not eat until you are completely stuffed, eat until you are comfortable, do not stuff your face. Stay away from sugar, it is addicting, it can be okay to give yourself a little treat once in awhile, but if you are one of those people who can not control yourself, than you might think about getting rid of it all.

The next thing is finding a workout that works for you, a workout that challenges you but also works in your time frame. Commit yourself to it, do not be afraid of commitment, and after awhile when your muscles start to get used to your workout routine, start doing different workouts to confuse your muscles. Remember building muscles is that fastest way to lose fat. So even though you might not be losing weight, you are still losing body fat. It is also very important to do a lot of cardio, if you have bad knees; it is not a good excuse any more, because they have many machines that take away the pounding on knees. So get up and start achieving your goals.
