What Does It Mean When You Purchase “made In Israel” Products?

The first thought that comes to mind is dead-sea products; however Israel has so many other treasures to offer, Israeli wines win competitions around the world and are considered superior even in comparison with French and Italian wines.
Israel exports fruits around the world and its agriculture is one of the most advanced.
People also know about the military developments which are sold worldwide and are an attraction at all international shows. However “Made in Israel” basically means all products that were manufactured, developed or designed in Israel.
But not less importantly – it’s a different way of saying that you are buying local goods, no mass production, and in many cases Hand-made designer Jewelry, Judaica and Artwork.
Esti’s Choice.com being an Israeli company has put it on its flag to help promote local artists and give them a platform to sell internationally. While searching for artists to add to our site one of our main goals is finding artists that manufacture locally and thus encourage export. Almost all of the artists ...
... on Esti’s Choice.com design and manufacture their merchandise in-house and locally.
However “made in Israel” may also mean that the design is made locally but because manufacturing has become a success production had to be taken overseas. In these cases we will mention this on the designer page and to date this is only the case with two of our designers “Peleg Design” and “Ototo Design” who’s merchandise and their quality has not been affected by this transition and we are extremely proud to have “made in Israel” products and designs which are now sold in museum stores worldwide. These two companies have managed to build a name for themselves and spread the word that “made in Israel” is extremely high quality. Even though they sell their products worldwide their headquarters, design team and inspiration are all local. Therefore we consider them local and “made in Israel”.
Israel is known for its cutting edge technology; extremely advanced high tech industries and agricultural techniques, however there are many local artists, who just don’t know how to bring their product to the next step and export. I hope that through Esti’s Choice.com people will see what treasures Israel and Made in Israel products have to offer. We will try and introduce you to as many different fields of art as possible, from Jewelry, Photography, Hand made designer jewelry, Judaica, Name Necklaces and many others.
So we hope you enjoy your shopping experience.
