Nirmay who studies in Nirma University wants to reside as a paying guest in the city but he can not afford to pay the rent alone. So he places an ad on a classified website mentioning that he is looking for room partners. After 2-3 days of placing the ad, he meets room partners and now he shares the rent of Rs.2,500/ - with them.

In the same way, Rupesh Patel residing in Satellite wanted to sell his desktop computer as he had purchased a new laptop for him. He placed an ad on a classifieds website mentioning that anyone who is interested in buying his PC can contact him for a fair price. Within a day or a two, Nimeshbhai of Navrangpura purchased the second hand PC from him for his children.

Divyang shah who has recently completed his B.com from H.L.Commerce College wanted to sell his college books and so he placed an ad on a classifieds website for the same. Pritam Parikh who studies in H.A.college contacted Divyang Shah and purchased those books for half the price.

For internet users in Ahmedabad & India, Aasit registered a website named YObaba.com. In the very first month of the registration 33 users navigated this site for Buying & Selling. Till date the site contains more than 12000 Ads.

Aasit Shah says: My targeted users were students & professionals initially but gradually I came to know that many people have used or unused things in their homes which they always wanted to sell and there are many people out there to buy them. So this site is a free online classified portal where you can buy & sell various kinds of items such as TV, DVD, Books, Furniture, PCs, Mobiles, Car, Property & so on without any charges. Job seekers can even also post their resumes & employers job openings.

Business man Kunal Shah says: I have made money by placing ads on YObaba.com. The best part of the site is that there is nothing like commission or charges for your classified ads His wife got a good response to her ad in making home made chocolates on Rakshabandhan festival. So sweet experiment!
