Coil springs or shock absorbers are installed on the vehicles to lessen the discomfort. Coilover is a suspension device in which both, the coil spring and shock absorber are packaged in one unit. In a coilover the coil spring encircles the shock absorber. The device provides both the spring action and the damping action.
