Among these Elephant festival and Makar Sankranti are the most important festivals. Elephant festival is celebrated during the festival of Holi. The elephants are decorated with garlands and jewelries and are painted with flamboyant colors and along with Rajasthani folk dances enhance the whole aura. On the other hand Makar Sankranti is another Jaipur festival where the devotees take a dip into the holy water of Galtaji tank. Flying kites are the major sport of this colorful festival.
