Have you ever heard about a blood type diet and have your tried it? Many searches have been carried out on this topic and there are solid evidences for its benefits. Many people try the Blood Type Diet in the hopes of enhancing their overall health or fighting a particular disease. According to his theory, your blood type determines your susceptibility to disease, which foods you can tolerate, and what kinds of exercise are beneficial.

As a matter of fact, the blood type diet is not actually the diet in the initial meaning of this word. It's the correct nutrition schedule which is to result into desirable shape of your body. What you can eat -- and how you exercise -- on this diet depends on who you are. It's suggested that you stick with this diet for a minimum of two weeks, but there's no maximum length. It is especially interesting in light of the fact that each of the four blood groups have quite different diets.

If you're blood type O ("for old," as in humanity's oldest blood line) your digestive tract retains the memory of ancient times, so you're metabolism will benefit from lean meats, poultry, and fish. ...
... Avoid avocados, brazil nuts, and oranges. Type O should also engage in lots of exercise.

Type A ("for agrarian") flourishes on vegetarian diets, "the inheritance of their more settled and less warlike farmer ancestors. The type A diet contains soy proteins, grains, and organic vegetables and encourages gentle exercise. With this diet you can supercharge your immune system and potentially short circuit the development of life threatening diseases."

The nomadic blood type B has a tolerant digestive system and can enjoy low-fat dairy, meat, and produce but, among other things, should avoid wheat, corn, and lentils. Type Bs can enjoy a varied diet, including dairy and grains. Eat plenty of meat and dairy, some fish, and plenty of fruit and vegetables.

The "modern" blood type AB has a sensitive digestive tract and should avoid chicken, beef, and pork but enjoy seafood, tofu, dairy, and most produce. The fitness regimen for ABs is calming exercises.

The matter is that the blood type diet considers only the blood type and sometimes rhesus factor, but in no case it considers peculiarities of your digestive system. Weight loss and other health improvements may occur on this diet – not so much because of blood type combinations, but because of a healthier diet!
